Awww...Christmas morning

I know it's a bit late, but here are some Christmas morning shots of the boys with their goods.

Hyde Street Pier

On Christmas Eve eve, the boys and I set out to take my mom to the new Academy of Sciences. When we reached the "Full" sign at the museum parking lot, we pointed ourselves toward a different destination - Hyde Street Pier. In the 5th grade, I spent the night on one of the ships, the CA Thayer, as part of a field trip, and taking Finn back there was a special treat.

And then, by fire and tree lights, we decorated the our Christmas tree. Eli chose to just supervise.

Keeping up with the family tradition of cutting down our own Christmas Tree, we ventured to a nearby tree farm after our big LA trip. Unfortunately the farm we chose didn't have the wide selection we had hoped, and after a bit of "shopping", we ended up with a pre-cut Oregon Noble Fir on the farm's lot. Thankfully, Finn had a great time regardless. :)
