Blending Right In

We're about a week and a half in and Lola has managed to get up to speed pretty quickly. She's joined us at the park, gone on neighborhood walks and even has time at the end of the day to cuddle up with Finn (or is that dress-up?).

Our dog is bigger than yours.

And probably bigger than you, too.

Welcome, LOLA! Finn wanted to name her Lollipop, so we compromised. Lola came home with us today from the Contra Costa Animal Shelter. She's a purebred Great Dane, a "Merle Blue", which aren't bred for showing. Lucky you, we're showing her off here, her debut as a Morse.

Gosh, she's purty. And pretty mellow and smart, very friendly, already kissing away tears wherever they appear and making babies smile. Strangers are already turning their heads like rubber-neckers and hurling compliments her way at every turn.

She's had a pretty long day, so she's gonna sleep it off for now. More soon!

Keeping Busy

In an effort to maintain my sanity and keep Finn entertained, we've added a new sport to his busy schedule. Here he is playing Tball....

Piano Lessons

I can recall my older sister teaching me things and watching out for me when we were little (well, heck, she still does! :)). It's so awesome watching Eli learn things from Finn at this young age.
